Dorothée Ciolino is a lawyer based in Luxembourg. She advises clients on banking regulatory matter and IT law issues and has more than 20 years' experience of working in the Luxembourg market.

Dorothée is a trusted advisor to clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, banking and finance. She offers a broad range of services relating to payment services and the digitalisation of payment means, as well as to the banking regulation, with a focus on FinTech. Dorothée also has extensive knowledge of intellectual property law and new technologies, in particular in software development and implementation of SaaS/PaaS, ICT regulation as well as data protection issues.

Dorothée's diverse practice involves advising clients on IT contract law. She assists local and international clients in setting-up their business in Luxembourg, in their day-to-day operations and in expanding their business across the EU.

Having held directorship positions in several types of businesses (mainly payment services providers, luxury groups, real estate companies), Dorothée is able to take a practical approach in negotiating agreements with providers and leading discussions with regulators. Her experience allows her to offer a global and integrated vision on regulatory and structuring matters and on operational issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Dorothée was the founding partner of an independent law firm.
