Hubert is Co-Founder and CEO at vlayer Labs. vlayer is building a new category - verifiable data infrastructure. Their all-in-one infrastructure layer allows Solidity developers to extract, verify and integrate real-world data into Ethereum smart contracts, in the form of trustless claims.

With a background in Data Science and Economics, Hubert was previously a Blockchain Ventures Lead at Daftcode and Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, with a focus on Financial Institutions and Tech. He also co-founded Nethone, an AI-powered fraud prevention engine that scaled to serve over 100 enterprises globally with a team of around 125 people. The company was eventually acquired by Mangopay, a private equity-owned payment service provider (PSP). During this time, Hubert observed the limitations of centralised data storage and processing - such as trust dependencies and bottlenecks - which sparked his interest in how decentralised infrastructure could offer better solutions.
